I debated getting a Speed Queen the last two times I bought a washing machine and now that I finally have one I really wish I would have gotten one sooner!! The digital machine is so easy to use and I love the extra wash cycles that it offers...such as Hand Wash and Delicate.

This washer is great!! It is located at our vacation home in Wisconsin. the washer we replaced was a Speed Queen washer that we purchased in 1991. It lasted for 34 years!! I have the same machine at our primary residence.

I think speed queen makes a good product. However, on the new washer there are features I don't like. The auto water level, is either too much or not enough water. Aren't adequate options, for instance medium fill, for water level. Also, agitation is not as good, clothes don't seem to get as clean. I will need to call for service, as when I set water temp on warm, it is no different than when I use cold

Bought a Speed Queen to replace a Kenmore purchased in 1999, it lasted almost 26 years. Hoping to get the same performance from SQ. Most machines are this way now, they have electronic circuit boards, but I almost prefer the mechanical controls from the past. Not crazy about the "perfect wash" feature in which the tub, but not the agitator moves, but I will give it a chance before saying any more. The one thing I do not like, is the lid lock--thinking about having it removed or overridden. I don't need a machine locking a lid when I might want to watch it work. SQ has a model without lid lock but that one didn't have water level selections and that was a deal breaker. I was surprised to see that a heavy duty cycle with the heavy soil button pushed, took about an hour and 10 minutes to complete.

I previously had a washer from Sears that was water saving and no agitator. My clothing never looked clean and my husbands work clothes were not clean at all..they came out of the washer so wrinkled and wadded up. I promised to never buy another without full water capability and an agitator. With the first wash I was happy and am still HAPPY. my Speed Queen set is PERFECT!

I miss the extra cycles and features I had to choose from on my previous machine.
cycles and features that the average household needs like the "drain and spin cycle"
when suddenly needed,or the "blulky items"cycle and other features.Also,the lid catches and makes a scraping sound when opening it and has since day one.

My clothes are visibly cleaner. My sheets, towels, and wash cloths. The washer and dryer together take up half the space the previous products did and no extra expense for pedestals! I should have bought this brand long ago and avoided all the replacements. In an addition, the delivery of the units and removal of the old was superb.

The machine only has two load sizes: large and small. Will NOT fill with water while the lid is up! The swishing agitators is TOO slow. It does NOT clean my clothes and it's NOT user-friendly!!! I hate it!

I paid top dollar for a machine with the reputation of lasting many years with minimal breakdowns. The motherboard went bad before three years passed. I now think it's overpayment for something that didn't live up to its reputation. I also bought a dryer. I lost confidence in your products. For the money i had many other choices with many more features and conveniences.

Have had 4 sets in 20 years. Name brand big box stuff that does not last, doesn't wash well and breaks often. This new Speed Queen set is quiet, stays where we put it (doesn't dance around after install), washes quickly and gets clothes clean. Old school design is where it's at! I had never purchased a washer and dryer before and did lots of research.
The Speed Queen seemed the right brand and so far happy to say I really like the washer. It's quiet, had a very basic control panel and hets the job done no problems.
I'm hoping it lasts as long as the company and other publications say.

I like the machine except for 2 issues. The lid locks so you have to cancel it to open the lid. I'm getting used to that. The worst issue is the lid squeaks when you open it .. very annoying

Straight out the shipping container the TR3 malfunction, within less than ten days it stopped working all together.
The main circuit board was faulty.
