We moved into a new house and this was the dryer that was in the house. Mind you the dryer was brand new. We washed some clothes and attempted to dry them, but the dryer did not get hot enough to dry the clothes. All I did was tumble them around in lukewarm temperature. We got the gas line checked to make sure that that wasn™€™t the problem. They contacted whirlpool and whirlpool sent a replacement dryer. We now have that replacement dryer after four weeks of not being able to dry my clothes at all. I had to take them to the laundromat. This is the replacement dryer and it isn™€™t much better than the one that we sent back. I washed 3 loads of clothes in the time it takes to dry 1 load and the clothes still come out damp. It doesn™€™t seem to matter what setting I put it on to dry the clothes still have to run 2 cycles to completely dry. I am so disappointed.

I™€™m older and have had many whirlpool products since the old eagle tv ads. This newest dryer does not dry acrylic throws no matter how many times you run them thru- so the feature that reads dry doesn™€™t work well. Works on regular fabrics but I miss being able to add my own time in. Also the dryer door can be moved but the matching washer can™€™t so you can™€™t set up system like the old Neptune ( sister company).

Dryer trips off leaving cloths wet

My washer and dryer were delivered and installed less than two weeks ago, and now I cannot dry my clothes. The dryer suddenly started tripping off without drying the clothes or completing the selected cycle. The truth is that it only runs for about 5 minutes, and then it trips off. Within that 5 minutes, it makes several pop and puff sounds before going off. I am frustrated because this is brand brand brand new and rarely used. Who knows what the problem could be? Unfortunately I do not have a youtube video but I have one on my computer but there is no link to upload such.

I'm not satisfied with the performance of this dryer. Our vent was cleaned last fall, but the clothes never seem to dry completely. Also, the EcoBoost mode defaults to the on state for every regular cycle and we need to turn if off every time we power up the dryer. EcoBoost uses less natural gas and runs the drying cycle about twice as long using twice the amount of electricity to turn the drum. That doesn't seem very ecological or convenient. I wish I could turn it off by default, but Samsung doesn't allow the customer to make that choice, so next time we will choose a different brand.

I have had this dryer and washer combination for almost 2 years the dryer. I am so disappointed in it. I have been a long time whirlpool customer I have had it worked on immediately after only using it two weeks and everything replaced on it and it still doesn™€™t work correctly. It is so temperamental the only way I can get my clothes to dry is if I put it on a timed dry none of the cycle settings work, I don™€™t wanna give it any stars . True disappointment, my 25 year-old whirlpool dryer works better.

I bought this dryer less than 1 month ago- in the first week- I had to call a service tec h because it wasn't drying clothes- It still does not do a very good job. It takes at least 1hr and 45 min. to dry a normal size load of light clothes. I would definitely not recommend this product. Its a total waste of money. Then in order to submit this review I need to add some sort of YouTube or video link or a photo. Honestly- so I picked a random photo and attached it. I'm glad they are s interested in feedback .

Always defaults to energy savings mode. Cycle start button is intermittent. 30% of the time clothes are still damp at the end of the cycle the dryer will not allow another cycle to start because the unit reads the damp clothes as dry.

Love my new dryer! So far love everything about it, dries quickly and efficiently. Holds a lot of clothes too. Color is beautiful. Many different drying settings. Having fun exploring them. My last Whirlpool lasted 18 yrs. Only buy Whirlpool washers & dryers

Towel cycle doesn't work

The TOWEL cycles DOESN'T WORK !!! It just runs 15 minutes on hot. Towels don't dry in fifteen minutes. So the tech guy and the store said, add minutes. When you do that it disables dampness sensing. So then they said, 'oh yeah, just use the NORMAL cycle for towels. This cost a lot of money and the cycles don't work????

Great features, if only they all worked

High end dryer. But how stupid, you push TOWELS and the QUICK 15 MINUTES lights up. When was the last time you could dry a load of towels in 15 minutes? So add time and the sensing feature goes out. Asked for direction from the store, oh, just use the NORMAL cycle for towels. Stupid.

We are satisfied with our dryer. We use it about two to three times a week. The length of the cycles are reasonable and the clothes come out dry and without wrinkles. the cycle prompts are understandable and easy.

The electronic keyboard panel is absolutely awful. Only had to weeks and have to push buttons numerous times. The steam button feature rarely works. I am goiimg to insist they replace it. Many times the clothes aren™€™t dry with any sensor settings even on ™€œmost dry™€ option. My 20 year old Kenmore (Whirlpool) worked better but unfortunately did not have part to repair. The controls are not intuitive in any way. 321 countdown to start is the most ignorant thing. I™€™m disappointed especially for the cost. Whirlpool needs to step it up for appliances that are this expensive. It™€™s not like the dryer was a low end model.

Misleading Installation Policy

The installers were great. However, once they were here I was informed that they were not allowed to install / hook-up a gas dryer. Why did Whirlpool allow me to pay extra for installation if this was a known policy? When can I expect my refund for the installation charge?
